Click on the red button at the top, the purple is low
frequency and the yellow is the highest
Select the marquee button and zoom in on the part which you
want to remove and then draw a box around the frequency lines with the marquee
tool. Press delete and the sound will be removed.
For sounds which are of a similar pitch to those which are
more prominent we need to use the spot healing brush otherwise we’ll take out
too much of the sound. The brush works a lot like the one in Photoshop; you can
use the bracket keys to control the size.
Highlight the sound within the piece which you want to
remove from the whole audio clip and go to effects along the top of the window
and Noise Reduction/Restoration and then Capture Noise Print. After this go
back into Effects and select Noise Reduction (process). For example if you
select a part of the clip which has a car noise in it and apply the capture
noise print then any part of the audio clip which has a car noise in it will be
removed.
